What is Pet Cremation?
Traditional Pet Cremation is a process utilizing high-temperature thermal reduction to return a pet to their essential elements. At L.E.A.S.H., we approach this as a professional stewardship, ensuring that the transition is handled with the highest level of environmental and ethical standards. Once the process is complete, the remains—often referred to as “cremains”—are meticulously prepared and placed within a secure Memorial urn before being presented to the client in a beautiful return package, which we Home Deliver directly by hand to your front door.
What is Pet Aquamation?
Pet Aquamation, also known as Alkaline Hydrolysis, is a water-based cremation process that accelerates the natural cycle of returning a pets body to its original mineral components. While flame-based cremation uses intense heat and oxidation, Aquamation uses a gentle flow of water, low heat and a specific, mild alkalinity to achieve a similar result in a more serene environment. Aquamation is a gentle, eco-friendly and sustainable option to Traditional Pet Cremation. The Aquamation Process does take substantially longer than the Traditional Cremation Process.
Do you Offer Pet Euthanasia Services?
L.E.A.S.H. Pet & Exotic Animal Mortuary does not directly provide euthanasia services for pets. We can however retrieve your pet from your Home or Veterinary Clinic after your euthanasia appointment.
Can you Team handle Exotic Animals?
Yes. At L.E.A.S.H. Pet & Exotic Animal Mortuary, we are specifically equipped to handle the unique requirements of exotic animals that many standard providers cannot accommodate. Yes. At L.E.A.S.H. Pet & Exotic Animal Mortuary we coordinate Private Cremation appointments for clients who would like to view their pets Individual Cremation from a Private Room at our Pet Crematorium facility in Mesa.
How soon can L.E.A.S.H. Pet & Exotic Animal Mortuary actually pick up my pet? Even at 2am?
We offer true 24/7 emergency pet pickup included in our packages. Because we are local to the Valley, our average response time for private homes and veterinary clinics is 45–60 minutes, regardless of the hour or day. This includes Holidays.
