Eligible Government Working Animals
Operation Honor Paws is exclusively available to animals currently or formally employed by a recognized government agency, including but not limited to:
- Law Enforcement K9s
- Fire Department K9s
- TSA Detection Dogs
- U.S. Border Patrol K9s
- Other federally, state, or municipally contracted working animals
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Operation Honor Paws, the animal must have:
- Been officially trained, assigned, and employed by a recognized government agency
- Been actively serving or honorably retired at the time of passing
- Verifiable documentation of government service (verification may be required)
